Housemaking and homekeeping.
I’ve felt a bit like Suzy Homemaker the last few weeks.
My flowerbeds have taken kindly to the care I’ve given them, and the tomato plants are promising loads of tomatoes soon.
I’ve tested various recipes, one yummy one being honey-apricot pork loins. Yay for pitted fruit season!
I’ve tried my hand at kefir, and am following my sister’s various recipes/hints in the kitchen. Now all I need is a waffle iron for her high protein waffles. We had them at mom’s when we last visited. SO good.
Speaking of my mom, we had a great visit with her, dad and my four youngest siblings as well as my sister, brother-in-law and niece and nephews.

Photos and Art
I’m a self-taught photographer and when my vision started affecting my ability to take portraits, I needed an outlet for my creative drive. I asked for paints for my birthday in 2017, and loved how much I could do with acrylic paint. In 2019 I picked up watercolor as a way to release stress during hospital stays.
